I'm having a planned csection and was told I need to go to the hospital the day before for my pre-op appointment. I was only told they will be doing blood work. Should I be expecting anything else, like cervix check? Thanks! :)

Hi Hun,

When I had my pre-op they took some bloods, also did Mrsa swabs. They checked over my notes did urine and blood pressure. Asked if I had any concerns or questions then gave me some medication to take the night before and in the morning and gave me my hospital wrist bands ready for when I'm admitted.. Hope this helps :)

Hi, at my pre op visit they checked blood pressure, temperature and urine, measured me for the glamorous stockings, took bloods, gave a Clexane injection and Zantac to take the next morning, and then listened to baby and had a generally feel of my bump. They also went through what would happen during the section and the consent form.

My pre-op was just them taking blood, and urine and then talking to the anesthesiologist.
