Pre seed advice.....

Hi all


So OH and I used pre seed the other night for the first time and well as ive never used any form of lube before I was wondering if anyone knew how far the applicator has to go into me....? Sorry if this is TMI but I pushed the applicator full of 3grams of pre seed as far as I could without causing any discomfort but Im unsure if it was far enough. Im not due to o ulate till the weekend but wanted to have a trail run before hand to make sure I got it right.

Anyone got any ideas....? Going to use pre seed again tonight and want to make sure im doing it right. Also how long did you leave pre seed in before having sex? I left it for 15mins, had abit of excess so wiped away but didnt have any leaking feeling, is this right?

you should push it as far as you can but wow you used the whole recommended amount, that's way too much for most ladies here.

haha thanks.....well i thought i would do a trial run first and see how i got on wiv 3grams and if it was too much i would reduce it but think i will stick at 3 tbh.....i wouldnt use it all the time tho, only whilst ovulating.

Ha ha. The first time I used it, i used the reccommended amount. Me and the oh could barely take the sex seriously cos we were slipping all over the show

I used half the amount. Is it okay to re-use the tube? Theres still some more contents left. Feel like its a waste to just throw away when there's still plenty inside... What do you think? If not yet disposed, is there any other way to minimize wastage? Ideas?

I wouldn't re-use it, may cause infection.

I have been thinking about the whole "re-using" thing myself. Really does seem like such a waste! I honestly don't see the harm as long as you wash and dry it well afterwards. I think you could AT LEAST get 2-3 uses out of each one to extend the life out. I mean think about it....When we use sex toys, we have to wash them after each use yes? How is the applicator any different??? Mhhm...

I think I will be doing that next time. Too $$$ to be buying a new box when I run out of applicators AND still have more lube left. lol

For my sex toys I bought a cleaning spray that I can spray on and wash off with warm water. It's supposed to kill all bacteria so you don't get infections. If you're really concerned about it, I'd just buy something like that from the sex shop to use on the applicators. But otherwise soap and warm water should work.

My question is do I even need to use the applicator? If we just use pre seed like we would a normal lube, does it work? Or does it have to be all the way inside to work?

Pre-seed in supposed to mimic fertile cervical mucus so I assume thats the idea for inserting it as close to the cervix as possible.
