I found out yesterday i was pregnant and cant believe it to be honest! Me and my partner are so happy!
We have a two year old and are due to travel to turkey on a family holiday on wednesday!
I am unsure if i should do so?
Is it safe to travel?
Many thanks

I got a bfp the morning I flew on vacation with my 8 month old :) I think it's fine. do ask your ob if you have any concerns.

I am going to see if i can get an appointment tonight x

Hi, I flew to Spain when I was 7 weeks pregnant I had had an early scan due to bleeding but was told there was no problem with flying my midwife actually said lots of woman fly without problems before even knowing they are pregnant! My midwifes advice was to keep well hydrated and try and get up and have a wee walk about if you can!

I flew to Turkey when I was six weeks pregnant with my daughter. It was perfect timing as it was before any symptoms really set in.

I am 5 weeks pregnant and just got off an 8 hour flight. In an hour I'm going to board again for another 8 hour flight. I'm also flying with a 19 month old. Aside from a bit of nausea all has been fine.

I just found out I was pregnant on holiday! Flew home with a wriggly 2 year old in my knee :) x

flying is safe until very late in pregnancy and some airlines may refuse to board you for the looooong flights in case you're hitting the 38-40 weeks, but just because the baby may decide to come while airborne... or air-born ;)

otherwise it's safe :)

Congratulations!!! I flew in my first pregnancy at 13 weeks. I flew a one hour flight and then fourteen hour flight...it was uncomfortable as I was throwing up every three hours but the flight attendants were helpful and sweet to me. Most times the seatbelt light was on I was in the bathroom being sick but there was nothing I could do. It was perfectly safe though! I recommend standing up and walking around frequently :)
