Pregnancy Buddy- Due July2011 after MC

Hi

I am pregnant for 2nd time after MC last june. Had full fertility tests in April 2010 and told i would not concieve naturall. Have no conceived and am due in July 2011!

Looking for a buddy who has similar experiance and is as anxious but excited as me!

Hi lou! I have had similar experience as you... you are not alone. I had a miscarriage in May followed by two D&C's and it was concluded as a partial molar pregnancy. After advising to wait 3 months until trying again we are now pregnant and due in July! My first appt is today.., I am very nervous. Please keep me posted on your progress and I will do the same!

Hi Lou & Krista,

After trying for over 3 years, I finally got my first BFP in June 2010. I was on clomid plus did IUI. I saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks, but it was gone at 8 week scan. I had a D&C, lots of tears, heartbreak, etc.

First time trying with the same clomid/IUI protocol, I'm extremely nervously pregnant again. I'm with you guys - - I'm excited but part of me can't help but think it will happen again.

We had the tissue tested & the first was lost b/c of triploidy. They say it's random and I"m not at any increased risk for it to happen again. Logically i get it, but emotionally it gives me little peace of mind.

Have you guys had early scans yet? I'm going in one week, so I'll be 6 1/2 weeks.

I'm going to try not to worry today!

hi all, my story is 2 mmcs as you can see from my ticker. Had the mc testing and was told all is fine. I;m now almost 10 weeks and due early July 2011! We've had 2 early scans so far with hb so we are hopeful for this one

I'm going along the lines that posiive thinking will have apositive impact. And to be told tis would not happen naturally for me and has can also only be a positive if the unthinkable does happen.

I have my booking appointment today with the midwife- was yesterday but the snow interupted!

I had an early scan at 7 +2 as i have a high risk of eptopic because of blocked tubes.

Just want to see my "sprout" again for peace of mind.....

Dreaded snow! Did you get another date? I tried making my booking in appontment yesterday but the mw is on holiday until my 13th week! so hopefully she will see me as soon as she gets back.

Luckily i got to see her friday or it would have been just before xmas in my 12th week!

She was really nice.

I have to be seen for loads of extra bits though because of fertility bits and high risk of gestational diabetes.

They said my scan is likely to be between xmas and new year!

do they not have other midwives???

Hi girls. How's everyone progressing? I think my official due date is July 31, so I've just made the cut-off for this thread

My first scan is this Thursday. I'm counting down the hours. With my mc pregnancy, I never worried at all - - assumed all would be a smooth ride. This time I don't know if I'll ever feel secure. Can't wait to see that little lub-dub heartbeat!

Krista - hope all went well with your scan. Update us!

hi guys - thanks for checking in on me. the scan was inconclusive. baby measured a couple of days prior to what i expected (i know my date exactly because I had IUI), and more concerning is the heart rate. It was 92, which is apparently low for 6 1/2 weeks. The ultrasound tech made me feel like it was over, but the doctor was less alarming. She said it can start low but pick up from here. I'm scanning again next Friday & worrying until then.

Measurements can be a few days out earsly on, so hopefully that will sort itself out Lola. Similarly with the hb, gl for Friday, make sure you update us!

I had a scan today, 11+3. Measuring for dates. It was moving around LOADS, and has fingers, toes, a nose & everything! We are so happy and even more excited now. nuchal scan booked for next Tuesday xxxxxxxxx

Kanga - that's awesome that you were able to see so much detail!

Lou - doesn't it seem like pregnancy is all about waiting?? Waiting to get pregnant, waiting for test results, then waiting for scans? I'm sure the 23rd seems like forever.

For me this Friday still feels like forever. I've done way too much research online. Some say 92 is within normal, others a death sentence. Just need time to pass quickly.

Hard to say it, but it's another miscarriage for me. The heartbeat was gone at today's scan.

I'm so sorry, lola. My first loss was similar. The heart beat was only 90 at 6 1/2 weeks. It fought for survival for a few weeks but then I lost it at 12 weeks. Please take care.


AFM, I had my loss at the end of May after TTC for 7 months. Got my bfp on a wonky 71 day cycle and am now due July 10. I've had some complications with a sub-chroniac haemorrhage and thought I had lost the baby on 3 separate occasions but it's still going strong and the last ultrasound showed the bleed was gone so now I'm hopefully recovering. I would love to have a normal pregnancy here on out.
