This research is being undertaken by Flinders University South Australia and is examining norms surrounding food and alcohol consumption during pregnancy and the role of friends and family in shaping these behaviours. It aims to measure a range of eating behaviours both prior to and during pregnancy, perceptions of portion size, and perceptions of socially acceptable behaviour during pregnancy.

By better understanding behaviours and norms surrounding health behaviour during pregnancy, this project will provide valuable information on current health behaviours and key people who influence behaviour choices during this time.
