hi im did a p test brought from local chemist clear & simple make did test glanced at it one line came up got distracted before 5 mins was up with my young daughter went to throw it away later in evening and decided to checked it again. noticed that there was two line athough 1 is blurred, lighter and thicker does this mean im pregnant im in my 40's has anyone else had this happened. ive ordered 2 clear blue tests off amazon to be delivered today sometime

The test isn't valid after the time stated in the instructions. I would disregard this test and test again with one of the tests you have coming from Amazon. I would also make sure to use FMU. Good luck!

I've heard that the chance of a false positive goes up in the 40s (it was printed on the instructions in my pregnancy test box). The false positives can be due to very low levels of HCG in the urine of some women (I think it said age 45 or more but I'm not sure). I would take a less sensitive test next time to be sure.
