Pregnyl!!!

Has anyone had any experiences with pregnyl?? I had 1500iu at 4dpo and 8dpo.

I'am 12dpo and i was wondering whether Pregnyl would keep your temp elevated. I haven't temped this cycle but, i took it this morning and it is higher than it usually would be at this time in my cycle.

I see you did better this time.... Congratulations!!!! As for me, I ended up with a BFN last month too, but now well into my next cycle. The only problem is I seem to be having problems getting my script filled for pregnyl....

Yes i did, it was the second go using Pregnyl. The pharmacist where i was seeing the FS filled the script no problems. Where are you from?

That's gives me great hope! I'm from Adelaide, where are you? I've got a pharmacy ordering it for me but still not in time for when I actually need it. My Obstetrician has some for my first injection on Friday but I have to be able to replace it....

Im in melbourne, you would think that if the Doctor's (im guessing its an IVF clinic) are prescribing it often that the chemist would have it in supply at all times!
That really shouldn't happen! Are you doing ovulation induction or IVF??

No, I'm just going to an OB/GYN... Not doing IVF at this stage. I ovulate on my own. The pregnyl is for luteal phase support as my LP was only 8/9 days... My 1st cycle on pregnyl it was 13 days.

I agree that all chemists should have it in supply. Imagine trying to get pregnant and being told that you will never get that script filled (which is what one pharmacy told me last month). I was devastated!

I used to live in Melbourne until about 6 months ago....

Were you doing IVF or ovulation induction?

I was ovulating on my own but it was taking awhile for the egg to release so i was given a trigger shot and then Pregnyl for the LP.
I was averaging 11-13 day LP. I am seeing a FS at Melb IVF, and there is a chemist there that stocks it, but if i was to go else where it would be difficult to get.

Are you currently in the 2ww?

At least your LP was good to start with. I only ovulated on day 19 this cycle and yes, in the TWW. Get my first pregnyl shot on Friday which is 5DPO. Still a way to go yet but feeling more positive....

I probably would have gone the FS route, but did acupuncture for 9 months instead hoping that would work.... But we are trying for our first so didn't really know where to go.... My Obgyn specialised in fertility and is a representative at some IVF group here in Adelaide so I think i'm in good hands now...
