Prenatal tablets and other pills....

Hi! Need some advice!
My first trimester I drank prenatal tablets daily with a calcium tablet.
For my second trimester my doctor has now prescribed iron tablets,calcium tablets and another brand of prenatal tablets.
Calcium I have to take daily,Iron every other day,Prenatal vitamins every other day. I was reading the instructions on my prenatal vitamin bottle and it states that I should drink 4 tablets daily?! Why was I prescribed one tablet every other day? I am worried now that my baby is not getting the nutrients he needs. Can anybody give any kind of advice as I am quite worried now.

I'm sure your baby is fine with the nutrients . I also have to take my prenatal and just got prescribed to take iron too and the baby looks fine and growing properly, so I'm not all that worried. I would ask the doctor about the prenatal though, 4 a day seems a bit much to me.

It sounds like your baby is getting plenty, and I am sure your care provider would not do anything to do otherwise! x
