PRESEED? or no preseed?

have any of you had success stories with preseed after a miscarriage?

I lost my child at 11 weeks, after using preseed.
that was a year ago, and I've been ttc ever since.
we haven't been using anything, and we have had NO LUCK so far.
I decided to pick up some preseed, I've only used it once so far.
im kind of hesitant, im worried that's what caused my MC in the first place and I don't want to have another one.

what are your thoughts?
any advice helps.

First of all, I am sorry about your MC.

Second, you have to realize that about 50-60% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. The main reason being chromosomal abnormalities. So, your body realizes that there is something wrong with the baby and aborts. This almost always has NOTHING to do with outside influence. It just happens. There was nothing that you did or didn't do that caused the miscarriage.

Preseed is just a lubricant. I honestly don't feel like it's helpful for anything and its just coincidence that people get pregnant on it. As I said, the only thing special about it is that it's a lubricant. It's not some magical "youre going to conceive now" juice lol.

If it's been another year since your pregnancy then I would suggest going to a reproductive endocrinologist. Their job and number one priority is getting you pregnant (which, I find OBGYNs dont care as much about that, they would rather stick you back on BC and call it a day) they should help pinpoint what issues there are (if any) that is making it hard for you to conceive again.

Sorry for your loss. I agree with that Bee said In that preseed is just a lubricant and not likely at all to have caused your MC. I used preseed when ttc my first two and conceived the first month with both and had healthy pregnancies and babies. I MC this past august, was not actively ttc and did not use preseed. I would grab some in a heartbeat this time around because it certainly made things more comfortable but we are taking a more relaxed approach this time so it's off limits for me. Good luck!

My DH and I have been TTC for 8 cycles, 3 we have used preseed because I don't get much EWCM. I think this month we are going to use a little less because the amount recommended seems like a lot!

really? dang, were almost on the same boat.
although, this is my first month using preseed out almost a year.
i guess it worked the first time, even though i MC.
so maybe itll work this time as well.

yeah, so far i have just started my TWW.
so hopefully the preseed did wonders.
im just worried about possibly having another MC.
whether its because of the preseed or just my body. ya know?

This is my first month trying preseed, I don't get any EWCM so I can only guess it will help, the first night I used it I seemed to use ALOT lol. Like previous people have said, it's just a lubricant, it isn't going to cause a MC. I'll let you know how I get on this month! Good luck whatever you decide to do! Xxx

So sorry for your loss Like others said, I don't think the preseed would have caused the mc since it's just a sperm friendly lubricant. I am thinking about trying preseed for the first time because last cycle and this cycle I am not making ewcm. Anyone have any tips for increasing cm? A few months ago I had a ton but sadly was out of town and away from DH.
Marissa I hope you have luck with trying preseed again! Would love to hear more success stories, or other suggestions on what to try.

I used preseed twice. Even although the first time resulted in miscarriage, I was pregnant again 5 weeks later with another round of preseed. I gave the rest of the unopened tubes to a friend who had been trying for 2 years and she got pregnant right away too.
