Problems with Mirena?

Has anyone had any problems like loss of fertility? My friend knows someone that lost her fertility due to it and she's suing them. So i looked up Mirena lawsuits and their actually getting alot filed against them. This of course has me worried sick! I've had mine since march but i'm thinking about getting it taken out. What would i say to my ob tho?

I will be watching this thread. My doctor is trying to get me to have it. After having OC during pregnancy my options for contraception are limited. I can have the mini pill which has been hurrendus or the coil. I was thinking of giving it a go so will look forward to seeing how others get on with it

I had Mirena for almost 9 months. It was fine. I had it removed last month though as we are going to TTC in a year and I'm trying to get my periods back on schedule.
