Progesterone pessary dosage advice

Hi, does anyone know the difference between using the 200mg pessaries and the 400mg?

My doctor prescribed 400mg one at night, I was prescribed
More tablets by a different doctor but she has prescribed 200mg per night. She wasn't my usual doctor, she was someone I saw in the assessment unit after a scan showed my cervix had shortened.

I run out of the 400 over Christmas so am worried it
Might affect my cervix using the 200mg and I'm not due to see my normal consultant till 9th Jan!

I take the 200mg twice a day. I don't know about the 400. Are you close to 12 weeks? Maybe you just need a lower dose now.

I don't think you can split them. I know the ones I have you can't as they are soft gels. I think she's worried it's not enough anyway.

You can't split them but I'm worried the 200mg isn't strong enough, going up to the hospital today to try and see a doctor!

Oh sorry but mine are giant pills and I can split mine and yes I would make sure you have right dosage and amount.
