Progesterone test..

Hi. First time poster here and new member, long time lurker. I was recently diagnosed Hypothyroid and had a 17mm thick endometrium during a t/v u/s. I went about 4 months without AF and my OBGYN placed me on 10 days of Progesterone pills to induce a period. 2 days after the pills were gone I started bleeding. I'm on day 6 and I've been severely bleeding with lots of clots and insane cramping. I don't know what normal is, but I cannot even fathom this being normal. I'm just curious if anyone on here has been through this because I am feeling very alone in it all. What does it mean for my fertility if the progesterone test worked? Will Clomid be effective for me? Or Soy ISO? Thanks in advance for any replies.
