Just wondering if anyone has had progestrone prescribed by thier doc or did you have to go to a gaeneacologist? My doctor is refusing to give it to me. I was advised by duo fertility to get a 7/11 day blood test done after 2 failed implantations and the doctor let me have the blood test but won't look at the result or talk about it? Anyone else experienced this?

Hey Peanut,

Im stalking as i want to know the answer too :-) x

Lol well lets hope someone replays. My dr is such an arse won't even talk about it. Tbh I just booked a private gaeneacologist for this Thursday. Found one who will see you without a referral!! Bonus. I am too scared to ask my dr and get shouted at again! I will let you know how it goes. Thanks to Duo Fertility I might have finally found a cause of my secondary infertility!

My progesterone is prescribed by my RE each month after IUI's.

Hello Ladies,

When I was struggling to conceive - I was informed by the hospital that GP's in the UK would not prescribe progesterone for fertility treatment

I ended up booking a private appointment with a fertility specialist at private clinic - who prescribed it under a private prescription (approx £28 for a months supply).

To give you hope I got pregnant the first month of taking it and continued to take it till 12 weeks.

Good luck
