I'm sure a website has been mentioned a few times on here before, but I can't remember the name. Any recommendations for a site (uk based) that has prom style dresses? (And perhaps the wilder the better)

Try Dollydagger.co.uk - they have some gorgeous vintage style dresses !

Do I smell something Gaga related here? ;) I would try ebay! xx

Indeed- whatever I find will be customed to heck so I don't wanna go too expensive.

Vivien of Holloway do beautiful prom style dresses, if I ever get married I am so getting my dress from there!!

What about a bit of steam punk?

Have you looked at light in the box?

Oh my god! Why are they so cheap though?

I have loved every suggestion on here.

It's really nice on xx

LindyBop, Voodoo vixen and Hell Bunny all do lovely vintage style dresses which can be found on ebay and amazon Light in the box is also great for more traditional styles but its based overseas. I got a dress from them before though and it was gorgeous and didn't take too long to arrive.

HAHAH - I have just bought that exact dress. It is gorgeous on :)

Ahh I've just fallen in love with that dress too. Can I ask what size you ladies are and what the dress size is like, whether it's worth going up or down? I hardly ever buy clothes online and am alwys suspicious about sizing!

My mum makes all my dresses.......

Shuuuuuussssssssssst don't make me jealous. I'm gonna do it myself I think

I am a size 14 (recently dropped from a 16 :D which is why I treated myself to a new party dress!!)
I bought a size 14-16 and it is definatly more a 14 than a 16.

This is me in it to give you an idea of fit

I'm an 8 on the bottom half, 10 on the top (usually). I got the size 8-10 and it was good, there's an elasticy panel in the back and a ribbon tie thing which pulls it in a bit. Attached a pic of it on.
