I really don't know how to explain this without sounding crude (so I apologise in advance).

I shave my pubic region, but I've realised I have stray public hair growing from my scar which must be from my skin folding inwards and stitched. I've tried plucking them and OMG the pain is wow. I'm too scared to even shave near my scar - the thought of catching makes me cringe and my stomach turn.

Any body else dealing with this?

Yea, its not pretty is it? I'm just waiting until it heals more and ill shave over it then. It's too tender at the moment.

I didn't really have that problem but I do remember my scar being very tender and sore to the touch til about 6 months. Now I don't have any feeling in that area whatsoever. Just try waiting a while and hopefully the pain will go away.

Forgot to mention that I'm 7 and half months post-op.

It's only painful when I try to pluck the hairs, but I'm too scared to shave in case I cut the scar.

I've shaved over it just really carefully, though it always leave stuble as i'm to scared to press any harder.

I trimmed the day before my C-section, and for the first time after it at about 6weeksPP. I steered well clear of my scar, it looks so silly but OH doesn't care and it's only him that sees it so until I'm comfortable to do it fully... it's gonna stay looking daft! :haha: I'm not sure about stray hairs in my scar, I don't think so. I don't think my hairs quite reach it lol.

i had my baby 9months ago, lucky i shave down there the night before i went into labour so didnt have to shave for around 4 weeks after c-section... honestly i just let the hair grow for a while and then shaved when i eventually felt like it... i just go over the scar, it doesnt hurt but is a bit sensitive, suppose you could always go for a bikini wax? x

I've always just shaved right over it. I have a massive scar on my leg from having a plate put in and I shave over that too. If you have a raised area that is catching just do it lightly or shave around it. You could also try a numbing cream (benzocaine) before you tweeze the hairs.
