So, I know this might be a weird question, but as a first time mom, I'm dying to know...
Where do you put your baby and pram, when you have to go...and you're all by yourself.
Of course some places have disabled or parent friendly toilets ( usually at malls), but what happens, if you're at a restaurant or somewhere else in public and there's only small cubicles? If You don't want to leave your child in the pram, no? And if you do take it in with you, are you ever worried that someone steals your pram or something that's inside the pram?

I would personally hold it in unless I could go in a disabled or baby change toilet. Or keep looking until I found one!

Would never leave my baby outside the door in the pram.

Luckily, I've never had a problem like this, so I think you'll be ok. Most places at least have a disabled toilet

As pp said usually I'd hold it until somewhere with a toilet you can fit in with the pram. Tho the other day I was desperate and went to where I knew there was a baby change with a toilet in only to find it was out of order. So I went into the ladies and luckily it was empty. I parked DS in his pram across the door to the toilet cubicle and left it slightly open so I could still see him. But that's the first time in 2.5 years I've had to do that!

You soon learn all the places where there is a disabled toilet or baby change with a toilet and head to them when you need to go.

I had that problem once or twice. Although I was in a store without a stroller. I ended up holding him while doing my pants and everything 1 handed! Was not easy or fun, but you do what you gotta do!

On the rare occasions I've needed to go and I've had this problem I've popped my son into a baby carrier and gone with him strapped to me.

I almost always use a disabled/baby change loo and bring the stroller in. Like others have said, you learn where they are. If not, I leave the pram and just bring baby with me. At first I was super nervous about leaving my pram out of sight but I'm used to it now

Some toilet cubicles in shopping centres are bigger so you can take your trolley in with you. Our shopping centre has these so I alway aim for those even now with dd who is 4 so we can both go in and then close the door. Try with 2 pepole in a normal cubicle you often can't both stand far enough in to then close the door!

Either that I go for the disabled or baby change rooms.

Wait for baby change or disabled.

Though one time when we was living in Germany I was flying just with Millie as a baby, no disabled or baby so I peed with the stall door open with the buggy blocking me in haha. Luckily no one came in x

I think basically I just shopped in John Lewis as I know they have big toilets / nursing areas! M&S are also good for letting you breast feed in the big disabled changing rooms! I think once I did leave my daughter in her pram in a cafe and nipped to the small loo, but I asked the lady behind the counter to watch her to keep eyes on her. Quickest wee ever!

germany is actually where i'm originally from and they're terrible with catering to disabled people and babies.
here in the uk, i see them more often esp. at malls.

i guess i was just thinking about restaurants /cafés or when you are somewhere where you don't know where disabled toilets are.

I don't know hun, just hope for the best or hold it lol x
