Purposely delay Femara to delay ovulation?

Hi! I'm looking ahead to next cycle and if I take my Femara again CD3-7 and ovulate again around CD 14 I will be away on a business trip which makes it a bust. The month after DH is away... so I don't want to miss another 2 months. Has anyone ever started taking Femara a couple days later than usual to try to delay their ovulation? I have PCOS and don't ovulate on my own.. so could I take it CD 5-9 and expect ovulation CD 16 instead?

Yes its fine to take it cd 5-9 .I ovulated on cd 16 when I took it 5-9. good luck!.
