hello,

Im not sure where to post this but yesterday i brought my daughter to see the doctor as she has a cough that will not go, he suspects asthma. He gave me an inhaler, antibiotics & tablets for her.

He gave Montelukast 5mg chewable tablet for a 3 year old. I googled it and said 4mg tablet should be given to 2-5 year olds and the one he gave is for over 6's. Im afraid to give it incase he made a mistake, i will go back over to the doctor tomorrow to double check this.

Has any of your children been priscribed 5mg to under 6's?

thanks x
