Question about Clomid

OK, so I just went and picked up my last 5-50mg Clomid pills. I have an appointment this coming Tuesday with my OB/GYN. This will be four rounds of Clomid. One pregnancy (first round - m/c), 2nd & 3rd rounds - nothing. I am doubting round 4, but who the heck knows. What is usually the next step here??? Just FYI, I take Clomid NOT to ovulate, but for unexplained infertility. I also take Progesterone for recurrent miscarriage. Since I ovulate, should I ask for something else, or to be tested more???

I am the same as you I take Clomid for unexplained fertility after over 2 years of tyring. i do ovulate and have had the blood tests and the positive OPKs to prove it. I am on round 3 of Clomid and have asked my doctor to refer me to the hospital for more tests. I have just this week had a letter back from the hospital and they have confirmed an appointment with a gyn specialist. Presuming then it will be Lap&Dye as the next steps. I would definately ask to be refered.......

I too take Clomid for unexplained infertility. I have had 3 mc's and for that I take progesterone too. This is my second cycle on Clomid but my doctor increased my dose from 50 mg to 100 mg. With that being said, I had been spotting for 5 days after my af stopped and Monday night I almost had a full flow for about an hour. I found it to be a bit odd. I have stopped now. But that was an odd cycle! Anyway, I ,too ovulate and if we don't get pregnant soon, we will be investigating further into why we aren't getting pregnant. My doctor doesn't think I need to do a hsg test as I have been pregnant 3 times and he says that is a good indication that my tubes are open. I did have a dnc and hysteroscopy and everything was great on that. Anyway sorry to ramble on and on but that is my story up to this point. I figured i would share my story and experience.
