Question About Doctors

Hi Ladies,

I am new to this part of TTC...

Just some information about our history...

Me (20) DH (25) we have been TTC for 16 months and the caught me this morning so we are moving onto our 17th cycle...

So this month and last month my Luteal Phase was 12 days and I didn't produce any EWCM

We have now booked an appointment with our doctors to get some test's started...

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on what to ask and what to tell the doctor? Any advice would be much appreciated...

Hi Sofiekirsten, do you chart?

It might be a good idea to start as a FS would usually request 3 cycles of charting.

The 1st few tests will be simple ones, like a SA for your DH and blood work and a scan for you perhaps.

Hey, Thanks for commenting.

I only chart my CM because I know the BBT can be unreliable because it will only tell you after you have ovulated.

This is my CM for August....

1st - 7th - Bleeding
8th - 9th - Dry
10th - 16th - White Mucus
17th - White Mucus - High Cervix - Sex
18th - 19th - White Mucus - High Cervix To The Right Side
20th - 23rd - White Mucus - Positive OPK - Sex
24th - 31st - White Mucus
1st - Bleeding

My darkest OPK was on the 20th which makes my Luteal Phase 12 days long

and I haven't had any EWCM

Yes the sperm analysis is very important, and getting the blood work done. Charting will help to determine if you actually ovulate as well.
