Question about epidural - any doctors/midwifes here?

Hi. The hospital I gave birth in have just had a midwife charged for taking 150mls of fenayln out of epidural bags. When I had my baby my legs were numbe but nothing else was. I was just wondering does the dosage of fentanyl affect the pain relief or the length of time tournaments pain relief lasts? I have tried googling it but can't find any answers

To add I was recommended to get epidural tolower blood pressure and it remained high and kept getting higher in labour causing me and baby distress
