Question about sperm test results?

My husband and I have been married since July of 2012 and have been trying ever since but no luck. He was deployed once in there and did go to training a few times in there as well so we've probably been trying for a little bit short of two years! We have gotten tests done before but they never really did tests that told us much. Finally hubby got checked last week and the results just came back today! He has a normal amount of sperm, but they're slow and some don't progress forward. They want to test again in a few months when we get to our next base (he's in the military and we're PCS'ing) to compare the two results.
Have any of your husbands ever gotten these results? Do you know what that really means or what the outlook is for it or options or maybe one of you got that but then conceived afterwards?
I hope this is the right forum to post this! If not please just point me in the right direction!
