Question about the perfect prep machine

I've just used our prep machine for the 1st time and I'm slightly confused

I set the dial to 4oz, got my hot shot, put the 4oz of powder in, put the bottle back under and on taking the bottle out and getting it sorted it looks like it's given me 5oz??

Has anyone else noticed that?

Its 4oz of water, so the powder makes it look more. Its like when you make the bottles the old way, you measure the water before the powder is added or there isn't enough water. My OH still gets a bit confused! Lol

Yeah I think that the powder added to the water and the bubbles put the level up a bit, I wouldn't worry we've never had any upset tummies

I was just confused as to why it looked like there was 5oz and then I was panicking that I needed to put 5 scoops of powder but then panicking the bottle wouldn't be right. Phew, panic over!
