I can't remember what I did with my DD after getting her home but do you need to sterilise bottles before 1st use?

I did, but I reused the bottles from DS1 but with new teats. They had been in storage so I gave them a good wash and serialise.

I probably would with new ones as well, it only takes a few minutes :)

Yes, I think most of the manufacturers recommend it. It's kind of a pain, but probably worthwhile.

Oh no not a pain at all I just couldn't remember if I did it last time round or not and just wanted to make sure that if it did need doing I could add to my list of "things to do when we get home" along with running a cycle on the steriliser & prep machine ect.

Thanks ladies :flower:

I did but mainly because I wanted everything to feel clean and ready like it was part of my check list!

Yes. It's a good idea to wash everything because you don't know what chemicals/etc could get on it during manufacturing. It's probably overkill, but with a newborn it's better safe than sorry!
