I have been using the digital OPK's this cycle. This is the first time I have ever used OPK's. I always *thought* I knew when I ovulated from my CM, and I get "pains" on one side or the other...plus, I just counted 12-14 days back from when AF started...but, also we covered the days before and after the days I thought I ovulated.

However, I am getting worried, and please tell me if I should be. I have a very regualr 25 day cycle. Sometimes, it will be 23 days, and somtimes 27...but, I would say 9/10 times...it is 25 days. So, according to Clearblue, I should start testing on CD8...which I did. I always thought I ovulated on CD11 or 12...just because of the before mentioned reasons. But, here I am on CD11, and I have no happy face on my OPK yet.

Things I am worried about: what happens if I am not ovulating, and just didn't know this! What if I ovulate really late? How late is too late? What can be done about these two scenarios, if they should be true??? Is there a possibility the test could be wrong? I follow the directions to a T, including first morning urine.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

could be just a one off month throwing you a funky cycle?

yes, I was wondering that too, that perhaps since I am checking...it is making me not ovulate. The frustrating part is, if I wasn't checking...I would think I was ovulating right now, because I have all the symptoms.

I hve the oppo, I din't check ( well not intensely lol!) this cycle, was having a break and I appeared ( by cm) to have oved about 4 days later than usual go figure!seriously I wouldn't worry too much this time, just see what happens over next couple cycles

OK...I will try not to worry too much.

I don't think you are not ovulating because you have a regular cycles.

Anything lower than 10 LP days is considered a Luteul Phase Defect.

There are progesterone supplements that you can take to lengthen your LP. Clomid also might be prescribed because it helps with ovulation. I also read that 50mg-100mg vitamin B6 will help lengthen your LP.

You could be one of the women who LH surge is not strong enough to detect. Or if you only surge for less than 24 hrs, you might miss your surge if you test once a day.
https://www.peeonastick.com/opkfaq.html has a lot of great info on OPKs.

I hope you get a smiley face soon

It is hard not to worry, but that website answered alot of my questions. Sorry to bother you all with my obsession...it's just been so long for me (I know I am not the only one) and I am wondering if I have "discovered" a problem, that's all.
