hello ivf/icsi ladies!
I may be starting IVF in January, and I'm trying to figure out the logistics of it all. I'm in the US so I can basically start when I want- or at least when it's possible in my cycle.
Here are my questions:
how did you feel on lupron? I ask because I might have to take it over Christmas while I'm away visiting DH's family, and if I'm going to feel awful on it, I might have to reconsider that plan.
also, is there a particular time in your cycle when you have to start lupron if you are on the long protocol?
Since it's artificially stopping your hormones, can they then stop the lupron and start you on the stimming drugs whenever works logistically, or does it have to be at a certain point in the cycle? And how long did you take lupron before starting the stimming?
Thanks for any advice- it's going to help me get my mind around what will be happening to me in the next few months.
