I just saw that my urine test came back abnormal. Well, everything was normal except my urine glucose level was 250 and the specific gravity was less than 1.005. Now... I had blood drawn right before this and felt faint so they had me drink a very, very sugary concoction and I had lunch before this (not healthy..chicken tenders, fries and ice cream!). Would this cause an abnormal result, or no?
FYI I have no history of gd, but diabetes runs in my family. I am very healthy, exercise, usually eat very well, and am normal weight and am 25 years old.

And for the gravity.. I have been drinking water excessively because I read it would help get rid of my subchorionic hematoma..so idk if that's why that was so low.

Hello, I am 34 in great shape, eat well and have gestational diabetes... I have learned in talking with my doc and dietician that it has nothing to do with how you eat or workout and anything like that, its in your genes and its your hormones that dictate. My sister had it as well with her kids and we were hoping I would not have it so that we could say its not in our family but it is and since my uncle has tested diabetic as well. I have not had to change my in my lifestyle just much more careful on my carb intake. I test twice a day and have actually lost a few pounds which I know only have just my bump!! I keep track of my calorie intake so I know I am getting what I and the baby needs. Of course your numbers would be elevated, I would re-test with a good 8-12 fast before just to be sure!! Best of luck!! :)
