If I was to delete someone from my friends list, could I re-add them again at some point without them knowing I even deleted them? Or would I have to send them a friend request?

I've just hidden them on my news feed and blocked them from looking at certain parts of my profile. It's mainly because I don't want to be tempted to see theirs

I've always blocked people so I could un-friend them! lol
