How many months and or years do you need to be trying before you're considered LTTTC?.. Because it sure does feel lt to me

By your ticker I'd say that you qualify. I'm sorry for your losses.

I reckon it's about 2 years to be considered LTTTC. I'm sure I saw a guideline somewhere on these boards but that was ages ago.

The Word Health Organisation says you're infertile if you've failed to conceive after 12 months of unprotected sex.

Have you had any kind of diagnosis?

Hi there. I'm sorry for the troubles you've been having. I can relate. And, we are also taking a break after having a CP.

Have you gone through any testing etc.? We did but everything came back normal.
Sending some positive thoughts and strength <3

What kind of testing do you get done after a couple chemicals?

The Dr says I may have a mild case of PCOS but I don't show all characteristics of having it. I only have one ovary. At one point they found a fibroid. No talk of that now. I have one ovary bc I suffered from ovarian cysts in my late teens, had a large one surgically removed and the Dr "couldn't save the ovary" Smdh. Hubby has low motility. It's gotten better, but not officially normal.

To be honest- they did nothing about the CPs. Did your dr for you?? I did the standard testing, blood tests, ultrasound, HSG, semen analysis etc. everything came back fine.

I did one month of taking fermera (even though I already ovulate, to try 'hyperovulation') and that didn't go well... I had side effects from the fermera, then had a crazy allergic reaction to the HCG shot (6 weeks of hives!), then went on to have 3rd chemical to which they had nothing to say except 'if you're in pain go to the ER'

As you see, I'm a bit frustrated with the system! I've found a lot of help through more natural practices though, acupuncture, a great naturopath, etc. So, I'm going to stick with that route because it seems to work for me the best.

I'm sorry to hear that they had to remove your ovary :( But good there are no fibriods. What is the course of action recommended for you?
