Quick question for anybody who gets housing benefit

Hi,

I just started to receive housing benefit recently and although my payment is meant to go into my bank account every second Monday I've noticed that it somehow is usually cleared into my bank account the Saturday before.

I checked yesterday though and it wasn't in there.

To those receiving housing benefit, I wondered which day your money normally appeared in your account? Is it on a Monday?

I dont receie it hun. but wondered weather the bank holiday could of pushed it back till monday

That's a good point littleblonde. Maybe it has had a knock-on effect?

I am currently on Jobseekers at the moment (Damn recession ) and whenever I have to go sign and there is a Bank holiday coming up they give you notice that due to that you get paid about 3 days before you normally do.


You know so that you still can pay your bills on monday or whatnot rather than them paying you later making everything else late
