quick question steroids.. For induction /cesarean

if you had the steroid injections how soon after injections did they deliver baby? im 32 weeks +4 with itching as baby poss not growing/slow growth they have booked me weekly scans for a fortnight then review with consultant. but have read steroids before effective after 48 hrs n wear off after 7 days and also that its not considered safe to have next dose... I had one injection yesterdsy and anothef due 9.30 this morning

any advice experience? ? xx

btw I didnt make it clear they have said if baby hadnt grown or is still growing very little they will most likely induce after 2 weeks but if baby has a growth spurt and starts growing 'normally' they will deliver baby at 38 weeks x
