Hello thanks for 'checking in' can you please let me know if you have been suffering with bleeding gums when brushing teeth? I had it through 1st trimester but not as much now (second trimester).

Hello there i didn't suffer from bleeding gums in 1st tri but i am now at 16weeks and my gums bleed a little every time i brush. I asked my dentist about this and he said it was to be expected and nothing to worry about hun.

With my first pregnancy, many years ago, the dental hygienist told me it was very common. It has something to do with the increased amount of blood in your system and the fact that you are more sensitive.

Its a common pregnancy symptom. I have had it on and off. I have extremely sensitive teeth this time round. x

very common! increase your vitamin C supplementation. it improves vascular strength. will also help with broken blood vessels in your legs which is always nice

My teeth have bleed a little since the beginning of my pregnancy, some days are worse than others though
