Quinny speedi for my newborn

Ive heard the seat is massive!! and that little babys are just lost in it. but i have bought the seat reducer and the footmuff.

wondered if anyone knew if that would be sufficient for my newborn? layed flat..?

dont wnt to spend 100 odd pounds on the carrycot part just for 8 weeks or something silly, cos ive read lots of people say there baby grew out of the carrycot far too quickly but werent redy for the normal seat, so does anyone know if i go straight for the reducer and footmuff if hed be ok?
