random - has anyone ever actually sent off scratchcard from out of the magazines?

i've always be cautious when it comes to stuff like that this

I never have done, because the small print always seems to be saying that delivery charges and extra premium text charges and the like can end up costing more than the 'prize'

don't do it, one of my clients in home care used always send these cards off and she spent thousands...... on crappy seeds and a toaster! absolute rip off.

I did - but only because I didn't have to phone a premium rate number to get a claim reference first! All I had to do was send the card off - and my prize was an uncut emerald. The con was it came with a note saying if I paid £15 they would cut it for me and set it in a 22ct gold plated pendant! Needless to say I didn't bother

They're not only a con but they will plague you with hardcore junk mail, lottery scam letters etc
