does the "funds available" update instantly once you've used your card? obviously my balance is still showing higher than it should be, but i mean the actual bit that says funds available, if that makes sense?

It depends if the place you have used it takes the funds straight away x

9/10 times yes unless its a place that takes money out at a later date - this is mostly food online shopping where they take the money out on the day of delivery
