rash on stomach after c section...?

like underneath my belly button, there is raised bumps that are sort of red and really itchy. Anyone else experience this? It is SO irritating, my doctor says she believes its from water retention and she sees it a lot apparently.
Any advice to help the itching stop?

I had this and never knew what it was. It lasted for about a week and was so itchy!

I had a rash. My Doctor said it's just a reaction to the stuff they put on you before cutting.
