re-starting weaning after illness

Alasdair is ill and over the last couple of days he's stopped eating completely. Today we didn't even offer him anything as he isn't even having a quarter of his bottle.

When he is better, do we just start giving him his normal 3 meals or do we start almost like we're starting from the beginning? I'll ask my dr on friday when Ally has his checkup but I'm interested to find out what we'll have to do sooner!

I had this problem with max he got sick for 6 days and only had milk ..

now once he felt better I started giving him only his breakfast for 2 days then moved onto 2 meals after another 2 days and now hes back to his 3 meals and snacks

thank you! I guess it's just a speeded up version of normal weaning

yeah pretty much , for me i started slow as he was throwing up everything he ate when he was sick so I needed to make sure he was ok

i'd be inclined to start from scratch and see how he goes

hi honey, maddi too has been poorly and we had been weaning for a week and half prior to illness but have had too stop solids for over a week now, we're just going to go back to start, and try again x

funny thing when i started to re-wean lol max now eats things he hated before lol
