hi im try to find somewhere locally near or close to me to get amh fertility blood test done.live in hertfordshire england uk.know i have to pay for it but want to know if ive got any hope falling preg after mc last yr time running out as im 43now .so if anyone can help me then pls contact me thanks sue.

If i were you id contact my GP first (you wont get it on the NHS but the GP can contact the fertility clinic for you as even NHS has a private option most places where you can probably pay to have it done if not..) call a local fertility clinic. Here's one i googled for you

https://www.hertsandessexfertility.com/?gclid=COCI_OuPxKYCFcINfAodEELqMw

Call and ask!

Good luck :hugs:

Got mine done at the private clinic, I doubt the NHS would do it, it's a specialised test, but I may be wrong. It's the most important test to get done at our age (I'm nearly 42) so I wouldn't delay if I were you. I'm going for IVF, just had enough of TTC naturally, we'll just try the Softcups first then that's it for me:(

I also live in hertfordshire and want the amh test, thank you for the information. Will be calling that clinic tomorrow.x

hi tried ring them there only interested in do amh test if ur a patient of there

I found a whole bunch of places that do it online.

One is Zita West https://www.zitawest.com/product_details.php?section=0&id=67 Probably the most expensive one of the lot..

This place also do it, just scroll done till you get to anti mullerian test
https://www.tdlpathology.com/test-information/a-z-test-list/a

and.. The anti-Mullerian hormone test is available from www.canigetpreg-nant.co.uk for £145 (£80 for members of the female healthcare company GynaeCheck) or call 01707 877889 for more details.

Good luck and hope this helps!

I know this thread is a little old now but did you manage to get an AMH test done in the end? I would be interested to know if you did. I have done a second funded cycle with Herts and Essex and they have suggested an AMH but say they cant do it for me as I am still under the care of the PCT and funded cycles! They said that their hands are tied!
