Ready made formula coming up?

LO is FF SMA hungry baby milk. We were almost out of formula yesterday evening so asked OH to grab a tub from the shop on his way home from work. Apparently they were out of tubs so he bought a big bottle of ready made to last us until we got to the chemist today..

LO has had 3 feeds today from the ready made and is being sick constantly! He's fairly reflux-y in general but it's never this bad. It doesn't seem to be bothering him but it's never ending! I've got him stripped down to his nappy to prevent anymore clothes being ruined.

Is the ready made formula to blame?

My LO is on Cow & Gate infant milk. He started off on the ready made in the hospital and went on to powdered formula when we got home. Now we keep 2x 90ml bottles of ready made formula in his changing bag in case we get caught short but we try to give him no more than that in any one day as it makes him a bit sick too. I think the ready made stuff is a bit richer and thicker than the powdered formula and maybe is too much for their tummies? Xx

It could be, or it could be just a bit of an upset tummy.

My lg has the ready made stuff every couple of weeks, as we go away for a weekend and it is easier to take. We havent had any problems before at all. Infact she is less sickly, but every baby is different so it may be that with your lo xx

My LO sometimes had this problem with ready made formula. It is a bit thicker than the other stuff and seems richer.

Are you warming it up or giving it at room temp, straight from the bottle? When we give lo room temp milk he spits it back up! He likes it body temp

When I gave any of kids ready to feed it always came up. I would just stick to the powder if you could
