Real tree

I'd told DH that we couldn't have a real tree this year as we can't really afford it & I'm worried we'll never get the needles out of the carpet in our rented flat. However... now I've seen other people putting their's up I quite want one - think I might take him to buy one on Saturday as a surprise!

That would be nice if he likes a real tree. I've never had any issue vacuuming up the needles and we rent too.
We probably won't get ours for a few more weeks at least, I'm not sure it would survive long enough in this heat.
