Really painful ov on clomid!

Well wasnt expecting that! Didnt get a wink of sleep last night tossing and turning, it was like there was no space left inside, how is anyone supposed to get pg whilst on clomid as it makes dtd unbearable! Is this a case of slight overstimulation do you think? xx

mine was pretty painful last cycle too (2nd round of Clomid). I had to push in my ovaries whilst DH was DTD..... I did think about overstimulations but I'd say that would be excruciatingly painful (mine was sore but bearable). And on first round i had 2 ripe follies so just figured it would be the same on 2nd round. Onto 3rd round tonight!

Hope the pain was a good sign for you and you get a BFP!

Thanks reba, they said there were 2 follies but they werent much good and didnt expect me to ov this month anyway so im hoping it was otherwise no idea what could cause that, thought that I had fluked any symptoms this month as had nothing when taking the tabs, obviously spoke too soon! lol

I had terrible pains in my right ovary last cycle! They lasted a few hours and it was painful to walk and to sit Let alone to DTD!! We still did it but I was in a lot of pain!

Clomid didn't work this cycle for me so onto the next in a few days and it's the pain which basically indicates Im ovulating! So I was happy I felt is last cycle!

I'm sorry this cycle the follies didn't grow as they should! Hoping this next cycle will be better. when I was on clomid my ovaries were very sensative.

Well they said they werent much good as only 9 and 10mm but that was last friday and guess im only ov'ing around now/yesterday so hoping that they would of grown enough to be ok xx

Mine gets pretty painful too. I always produce 3 eggs so maybe you're producing the same.

Well I know the biggest 2 were as above so im hoping that maybe both were produced and that may explain why it was more painful this month than last, im guessing the prog level when I have my blood test may tell me that next week.... xx

It doesn't sound like you're over-stimulating. I'm always in ALOT of pain on Clomid!! Like someone else said, it was too painful to even sit down...felt like knives.
