New to this site. A little about me. I am 24. Was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome at the age of 13. Always bothered me because of the facial hair and not being able to lose weight. Hate Hate Hate the facial hair. Been Tring to conceive with my husband for 11 months now. No luck. Started taking Metformin December of 2015. Finally after not having a period for 10 years, I have had a period every month Since January 2016. I should be happy right? Wrong. No cervical Mucus production and I'm assuming not ovulating. I know its not my husband because he has 2 other children from previous marriage. Any advice?

Hey there, we are in a similar position.

I can't suggest enough that you need to see a doctor. You've tried longer than you need to by yourself with PCOS and you're most likely not ovulating.

I have PCOS, I'm a normal weight but have some other symptoms. We just had our first appointment with a fertility specialist and I'll start clomid next cycle.

Don't waste your time and energy. I feel so much better knowing it probably won't happen naturally. I'm really excited for my next cycle now!
