Not pregnant yet but like discussing names already

Stuck between Rebecca and Olivia. Olivia, I love but seems very popular but Rebecca seems dated to me and I don't like the nickname 'Becky'. DH prefers Rebecca. What do you think? Middle name will be Noelle regardless

Rebecca, because awesome people have that name! ;) :haha:

No one calls me Becky, it's always Becks or Becca. People tend to ask me what I prefer. :)

I do also think Rebecca flows better with the middle name you've chosen.

I like Rebecca! I wouldn't assume someone is called Becky with that name.

Olivia by a mile for me! I agree that Rebecca sounds dated, strikes me as very 80s/90s and I don't care for Becky either (only Rebecca I know as an adult goes by Becky, I went to school with like 5 of them in the mid-90s though).

I feel incredibly old with everyone saying my name is dated!

I have a typical 80s/90s name, too! Definitely not meaning it to be insulting. I've heard of a few newborns with my name I have to do a double-take because it's just not something I picture on "modern" day babies!

I have a dated name too (Michelle), it's pretty obvious I was born in the 80's!

I don't like either name and actually like the middle name better, it's a lovely name.

I think Rebecca is lovely, it's a Hebrew name and really classic, it's been used over many years and definitely doesn't seem 80s/90s to me x

I'm a Rebekah so different spelling. I don't get called Becky either. It's rare these days my name is shortened.
