Recommend me a good eyeliner that doesn't smudge and lasts all day

It doesn't run at all, I only use the "crayon" type ones on my bottom lid. It's a twist up one.

Don't know if you can get it in the UK as I've always got it from my cosmetologist mum, but I love Joe Blasco's cake eye liners and have been using them for about 20 years now. It's like an eye shadow and you just use it with a fine brush and a bit of water. It stays on all day no problems and doesn't smudge.

I use urban decay eyeliner. It's a bit expensive though, but works better than any other one I've ever used and lasts for ever!

Another vote for Maybelline Gel Eyeliners. Easy to apply & lasts all day.

The Avon gel one is good. I like liquid eyeliner on the top lashes, the best one I ever found was the Avon (again!) everlasting one, but they have discontinued it. Since then I have tried loads and haven't found anything as good.

I heard good things about the Stila stay all day liquid liners, so bought one, but it started flaking off after an hour or two, I'm not sure if I got a duff one, but it's put me off buying another one!

I use honestly a collection 2000 liquid liner and it's fab. Never had any issues with it and it's right at home among my designer mascara and powder lol xx

I bought this one on a whim, I needed something to hold me over until I got a better one, it has worked well though, and was relatively inexpensive. It has never smudged on me.

I second this, for your lower lash line. Obviously not to line your top lash. For that I'll always use my Bobbi Brown Gel liner, or I'm going light on makeup, then I use a dark brown powder.

But for lower these work a treat. Come in a huge array of coulours and blend like a dream.

If you are a bit of a gel liner novice (it's bloody hard) then a good gel liner pen is a good start. Bobbi Brown do the best one I know of. It's called something like BB Defined.

I'm really cack handed and can never get a nice straight, even line or it to natch the other eye!! Any tips? Xx

Lean your hand on your cheek and do your worse side first. Do thin line and make it thicker gradually. If all else fails dip a cotton bud in remover and clean it to a neat line. It takes practice. I can do both eyes in under a minute now but used to make an awful mess lol

I've been lining my top lid for years but I'm still so rubbish at it I really don't know why?! Lol x

I like this thread, I'm shit at applying liner lol! Takes a few attempts. I use a pencil one on the bottom lid and liquid on the top. I never get them right but slowly learning
