Rectal Bleeding at 12weeks PP

Did anyone else have this and it turned out to not be a big deal? I've always had a couple of drops of blood after a constipated stool (TMI sorry) but my doc said it was to be expected and strictly asked me to avoid constipation( at 6week check-up). Today morning while wiping the tissue was soaked with blood after a BM . Now I've again seen some blood, just a little bit and I am wondering if I have anal fissures or something. I am quite concerned about having surgery etc.. Anyone else?

if you had an anal fissure you would know about it - trust me i have two in my butt! They sting like mad and bleed and the only thing that soothes them for me is a hot, salty bath! Then sudo cream on them! If there is no pain with the bleeding not sure what it could be, did you tear at all when you gave birth? I had 4th degree tear and had lots of bleeing from my butt after for about 16 weeks.

Thanks for replying. Yes I had second degree tearing. I guess I am confused because I bleed for a few days and then there is nothing for a while and then it starts back again.

i just started bleeding from my bum after BMs this week... and i am still on stool softeners. its not a ton of blood but it is still concerning as i was fine there until now (my 2nd degree tear reopened but that was at the vaginal opening. the tear next to my butt hole is healed). my 6 week pp is thurs so i'll see what he says
