Red blotches on butt - 31 weeks

So after getting out of the shower this evening, I’ve noticed that I have red spots all over my butt, almost a purple-red colour to them. I only noticed today because I haven’t really been checking my body in the mirror lately. They just appear under my skin not pimple like or anything just flat marks. Anyone know what this is from or have had it in the past?

Also, I’ve noticed along with it that I have one or two stretch marks on my upper thighs in the front as well as more in the back!! Do these go away after birth? I’m starting to feel very self conscious about my body now and not enjoying pregnancy I have yet to see them on my stomach though

Dunno about the red spots however your stretch marks are here to stay. They fade over time but they are your mom tattoos! Lol

I had the exact same thing about 2 weeks ago. Made me panic. Everyone said it's the start of stretch marks. Anyhow it wasnt and they just disappeared xx

Could it just have been a reaction to the hot water ?

I have stretch marks , a little patch on my lower stomach from DD1 . They didn’t get worse with DD2 and upto now have stayed the same this pregnancy .

They do fade to a silver over time and I don’t notice them . All you can do is moisturise them if they get itchy !

Thanks! They don’t get itchy, just the fact that they are there seems so ugly! They aren’t as bad so hopefully they fade away with time. Also red dots are there all the time but I just read that some people do get a rash like appearance but goes away afterwards..

I recently had red spots on my abdomen and for me it was actually the start of some new stretch marks. I hope yours aren't stretch marks, though!
