I had my c section 2 weeks ago and my incision has healed wonderfully. Although about 1 inch under my Belly button my tummy feels lumpy, warm to touch and is red. I don't feel unwell and I have no pain, just general discomfort you'd expect after a section. Should I be concerned?

Red and warm don't sound good to me hun, I would go see a Dr tomorrow just in case you have a bit of an internal infection. I had one on my scar a few months after my section. The outer scar was fine but the inner one was quite achy. I got some cream and it cleared right up. You might just need some antibiotics x

I had my cs nearly 6 weeks ago. At the 2-3 week point I had a hard, red, warm lump right above my scar. Like you I felt totally fine. It went by 3-4 weeks, my guess it was a collection of old blood which was reabsorbed and I've had no problems since.
But if you're worried give your GP a bell in the morning.

It's quite a large area that is raised and lumpy. I've phoned the dr as a precaution and the on call dr is coming to visit me to rule out any infection.

Well the dr said it's infected :-( although my scar is intact, he said it feels 'soft' in one area. I'm now terrified it will split. I'm 300lb, so have a substantial over-hang. I've tried so hard. He's given me antibiotics, but I just Know that with the heat and my size I will end up having course after course of antibiotics. It did feel fine but now stings where the dr pressed it. I just feel I've gone backwards 2 weeks. I'm so upset.

Don't be upset hun, these things happen. I mentioned it on another thread but my Dr told.me to.use cornflour instead of talc to keep it dry as talc is abrasive and can let infection in. Hope you are feeling better soon xx
