Good Morning!

I just had a quick question concerning reflexology. I've never done a session before, so this is all new to me. My DH and I have been trying to conceive for about a year now but had some bumps in the road along the way. The doctors believe I have a hormonal imbalance, so I wanted to try reflexology after researching the benefits and success stories. I also took clomid days 5-9 and another medication on day 5 (name is not coming to me right now) to jump start the clomid. My worry is the timing. I just got my peak smiley face yesterday, so today is my second day of peak. I use CB Advanced OPKs. Last month I never got a peak, but 7 days of flashing smiley faces...so having the peak is exciting for me! Lol. Anyway, I have read that you want to do reflexology from the day after your period ends up to ovulation...but never after ovulation as it can mess with a possible embryo and could cause a miscarriage. If I'm on my 2nd day of peak...do you think it's still okay to have the reflexology session, or should I wait until my next cycle if I don't get a BFP?? DH and I have been BD every day now during the fertile window, so I think we have a pretty good chance this cycle. My appointment is 5:45pm tonight. O may be occurring right now or it may be later. Fertility Friend has estimated O on CD17, and I'm on CD16. FF has been wrong before. I am also taking BBT but I forgot to take my temp this morning. :-( Thanks in advanced for your wisdom! :)

I had the same concern when I had reflexology. My therapist asked if I was pregnant and I said I could be- that I was trying but didn't know yet. She said she would just stay away from some of the spots that she would normally work on (ie. the uterus)- basically treating me as if I was already pregnant.

If you have a good therapist who knows what they are doing and the places to avoid/go lightly on, you shouldn't have a problem. Just be sure to explain your situation to them and they should know what to do (if they act confused, get a new therapist!). It is very relaxing- I hope you love it and that it helps you!
