reformatting PS3..

I need to reformat my PS3, mainly due to the kids having made themselves about 6 accounts each on it, and its running slow as hell!! So I wanna sipe it, then make sure they only have 1 account each, but... Ive spent quite a bit of money on things like sing star songs, and guitar hero songs, and even a couple of whole games actually, from the playstation store, that have been downloaded, des anyone know if i'll be able to redownload them for free once ive reformatted?

My OH said that if you go to the accounts and press triangle you would be able to delete the accounts that you want and hopefully that won't slow down your ps3 x
