Today, Millie has only taken 2 bottles when she usually has at least 4, usually 5. She has about 550ml a day but she's only had 290ml. She has had breakfast and lunch too. I'm wondering if I should not give her dinner, to make sure she has a proper bedtime bottle. (last bottle she had was 4pm and she had 100ml). Or shall I still give her dinner?

A little late now I guess but... At this stage they need about 500-600ml of dairy including what's in they're food. When Dd refused bottles I used to load her up with fromage frais or cheesy base food.

I decided to give her a natural yoghurt for dinner then she took 100ml before bed. She woke up once in the night, took 100ml and had another 100ml this morning. Not as much as normal but at least she's having it. Will keep her topped up with some yoghurts.

Forgot to say, is it likely she's teething too? May be a temp glitch with solids hurting the gums less than solids? Glad she picked up x

eta: sucking hurting the gums, not solids...

I was going to say add in some yogurt, cheese, etc. if she's not taking the milk. Once they're older it's ok if some of the dairy comes from other sources than the formula. My LO is on 3 meals a day now and went back to taking tons of formula
